

For the first time, buyers and sellers from the sector will be brought together to discuss offers and demands in the pharmaceutical market, taking this event as a starting point from which regular commercial relationships can be established.
From the procurement side buyers such as Phramid, Ethiopian Red Cross Society, Medecins Sans Frontières, WHO and UNICEF will assist and from the manufacturers side, organizations such as East African Pharmaceuticals, Pharmacure, Epharm and APF. The meeting will also be attended by representatives from the Drug Administration and Control Authority, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.
The press briefing will be addressed by Ato Asmelash Gebre (Secretary General, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association) and Ato Girma Bedaso (General Manager, Phramid). Afterwards, all journalists attending are invited to join the reception.
This event is organized by the Engineering Capacity Building Program (ecbp) as part of its effort to create a strong and vibrant Ethiopian private sector. ecbp aims to open markets up by increasing competitive advantages for Ethiopian entrepreneurs.
