eLearning will reach the peak of its institutional week this Thursday, with a two days strategy workshop in Ghion Hotel. During these two days will be finalized a strategy/project plan for eLearning in Ethiopia and will be drawn how to collaborate with local and international partners in order to maximize efficiency.

eLearning is the common venture of a cooperation made up of five different projects from Ethiopia, Rwanda, Indonesia and Germany. This cooperation will seek to collaborate in establishing a joint eLearning environment by sharing development, maintenance and support of standardized ICT-solutions.
This significant event is powered by On.e. On.e, e-business solutions, is part of the Engineering Capacity Building Program (ecbp). It will not only operate as a shared service centre for IT enabled services within ecbp itself (universities and vocational training centers), but will also make its portfolio available to Ethiopian private clients in the future.
ecbp is an Ethiopian program to improve competitiveness and promote employment. ecbp considers the private sector to be the catalyst of development and will promote it through reform of the technical and vocational training system, including non-formal education as well as reform of universities’ technical faculties, and by strengthening quality management and production standards.
