In order to ensure sustainable growth, employment and beneficial international trade relations in Ethiopia, ecbp aims to improve the competitiveness of industries that have a high potential for increased employment and value addition to products. 

Improved competitiveness of industries not only refers to their increased capacity, but it involves more efficient value chains and clear government policies and practices. To achieve this, ecbp introduces international good practices, standards and systems in the four reform areas together with Ethiopian Ministries and Agencies and the private sector. To read more:
